Status: With the open-cut pipe installation in the neighborhood complete, that crew will be moving to Jaycee Park on Monday 9/27, and start working their way north. We can now move to milling and asphalt in the neighborhood! Milling began this week, and will also take place on Saturday, September 11. (The work on that Saturday is scheduled to minimize impacts to the school at Irma and Phillips.)

Paving operations will start next Tuesday, September 7, and will run all week. Please be aware of the “No Parking” signs that will be placed prior to these paving operations.

You will see the tunneling crew start to move in late next week (Thursday and/or Friday) to 112th and Irma. We are boring under the intersection to minimize traffic interruptions, but Irma will be closed from E 112th Ave. to E 112th Pl.

Impacts: Watch for the closure of Irma from E 112th Ave. to E 112th Pl. for tunneling operations starting at the end of next week. We are down to final details in the neighborhood, but continue to watch for door hangers notifying you of work in your area. There may be minor interruptions to water / sewer services for line relocations, and notifications will go out at least 48 hours in advance. Our work and schedules are weather—and supply chain—dependent.

Labor Day Holiday: Crews will not be working tomorrow, Friday, through Monday, in observance of the Labor Day Holiday.

Have a wonderful Labor Day weekend!
